RIP: Lone Star

It's too bad. I thought the pilot was stilted and not nearly as good as Kyle Killen's original script. But the second episode was much improved, and Killen is a fantastic writer. If you haven't read the pilot, or The Beaver, you should.

This town can be brutal. And I guess it can get even worse after you've gotten your foot in the door.

Here's to hoping that the winds change soon for Killen.

Ps. Check out Killen's blog, The Letter Eleven.

It makes me sick actually. It's like a rat that eats her babies. Such a ridiculous waste of talent, hard work and creative birth. Nurture nature or it will fail (us all.....) RIP.

Look out The Whole Truth -- you're next!

Seriously, it sucks for Killen, but I think Ferris Bueller said it best: "I don't even have a shitty car; I have to envy yours."

I'd much rather have a canceled show than not have a show at all.

On the bright side, Terriers just gets better and better... which probably means that it will shortly be canceled too. Crap.
