You are my sunshine

It's been a stressful week.  Things are still teetering on the edge of God-knows-what.  I was, shall we say, a bit out of it this week.  And at a testy point, I watched Katy Perry's new video for Part of Me.  (Don't worry, I'm not going to post that.)  But the video does beautifully use Johnny Cash's "You Are My Sunshine" -- which is the song my wife and I sang to our little man when he was a baby.  (He's almost two now and has shifted his preference to other songs.  Like "Old McDonald" and "All the Single Ladies.")

But that song always makes me think of our little family, and that things are just great.  Purely and simply great.  Thank you, Katy Perry, for the kick in the pants.

ps.  My family, as always, I love you more.
